The Undesirables

Modern romance done wrong. A dating podcast from two guys who definitely shouldn't have a dating podcast.

I co-host a comedy podcast focused on personal experiences navigating modern dating apps and exploring relevant topics such as ghosting, paid subscriptions, algorithms, and racial bias. I edit the audio using Audacity, design artwork using Adobe Photoshop, and conduct marketing efforts.

Launched on February 14, 2018. Available on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and everywhere you get podcasts.

Hardcore Gamer

From 2014 to 2016, I wrote breaking news, editorials, features, interviews, previews, and reviews. I flew to events across the country to cover unfinished games and get in-depth interviews with developers, publishers, and voice actors. I appeared on The Sitdown video podcast, and my opinion editorial on Star Wars: Battlefront broke Hardcore Gamer's all-time record for page views in a single day with 200,000 and went on to become Hardcore Gamer's most trafficked article of 2015.

what is delicious

From 2007 to 2013, I created and managed a video game coverage blog with the goal of delivering the quality of a bigger site with a full staff. Several of my articles were featured on VentureBeat, trended on Reddit, and helped foster a small community. The most popular article, a review of Assassin's Creed: Revelations, earned over 250,000 lifetime views.

The Blue and Gray Press

From 2010 to 2011, I was the Entertainment Editor of the University of Mary Washington's student newspaper, and was the Online Editor from 2011 to 2012. I managed a staff of 25 writers, commissioned and edited the articles, produced two pages of layout a week, and revamped the website. As well, I won 1st place in the Virginia Press Association's college awards in the Critical Writing category for both 2010 and 2011.
